Proverbs 22:6 encourages us to ‘train up a child in the way he should go,’ meaning we must guide them in godly ways that honor the gifts and calling God has placed on their lives. For my family, I’ve found that small, everyday actions like praying before meals or sharing a Bible story each night help reinforce their faith. One area I hope to grow in is teaching patience and showing grace, as Ephesians 6:4 reminds us to ‘not provoke [our] children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
